Hello,
I am Petra, mother to Michael, 32, autistic and non-speaking. Michael communicates in many other ways. We are working on getting a system going that he can communicate with others once we - his immediate family - are not available any longer.
We live in Namibia and I am the founder member of the Autism Association of Namibia where I do a lot of work in support and advocacy.
